These methods will keep your feet healthy and let you wear your shoes for many years. If you wish you may view our shoe care line on shoe care products page.

Leather Shoe Care

The most important thing for leather shoes is keeping the pebble grain texture away from abrasion. The care products you are going to use must not corrode this exclusive texture of leather. Polishing sprays and sponges may cause this thin porous structure breakout and may both prevent your feet get air and cause bad odour. The biggest tip is to wipe the leather shoes with a clean and dampened cloth after every use. You may use shoe brushes which makes the leather look more refreshed by nourishing it. Maintaining your leather shoes with various chemicals may satisfy you for a short period but you may observe that the leather quality lowers as time goes by. You can be sure of you will be wearing İLVİ shoes for many years since they are made of 100% leather.

Suede Shoe Care

Suede shoe care is a little bit harder than regular leather shoe care. Since it gets stained easily, a wrong shoe care method may lead you to lose your shoe in a very short period. In order to prevent this, you may use shoe brushes and erasers which are exclusively produced for suede shoes. In order to prevent scratches and bruises, dab the suede shoe brush on the scratches but if you apply a lot of pressure the scratches may turn into huge bruises causing abrasion on the suede texture. Try not to wear your suede shoes on rainy days and dusty environments as far as possible.

Patent Leather Shoe Care

Patent leather shoes are can be taken easily care of as they are defenseless to impacts. Patent leather shoes can be worn at anywhere such as rainy and muddy places but a small damage can leave a hard-to-fix mark on them. The key is to be careful while wearing patent leather. Leather and suede shoes can be cleaned after each use but patent leather shoe care must be done while wearing them on. You can clean the dust and the stains on patent leather shoes with a dampened cloth as we mentioned on leather shoe care section.

Nubuck Shoe Care

Nubuck shoes are frequently confused with suede shoes. Thus, suede shoe care methods must not be applied on nubuck shoes! Since nubuck leather has a much more delicate structure than regular leather, we definitely do not recommend them to be worn on rainy, snowy weathers or muddy places. Even though our nubuck models have all leather features, nubuck shoes, even nubuck boots, are getting more corroded on winter. You can prefer nubuck shoes on winter, of course, but it will be wiser to wear them at office. In other words, indoor places will extend the lifetime and durability of your nubuck shoes. Never wipe your nubuck shoes with a dusty and wet cloth. The best way to do your daily shoe care is to do it with a nubuck shoe brush.
